33 FLORIDA COMPANIES TO WATCH HONOREES NAMED TO INC. 5,000 LIST
More than 30 past GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch Honorees have been named to the Inc. 5,000 list recognizing the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. According to Inc., the companies that made the list have grown by six times, on average since 2016.
The 2020 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2016 and 2019. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2016.
These 5,000 companies achieved a notable three-year average growth of over 500 percent, and a median rate of 165 percent. The 376 Florida based companies on the list, had a median growth of 190% and an aggregated revenue of $12.3 billion. Together, they accounted for over 40,000 jobs in the state over the past three years.
Well-known companies like Microsoft, Zappos and Under Armour gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000. Joining them is Forcura, a 2019 GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch Honoree, who have been named to the list since 2016.

The 2020 GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch Honorees will be announced on September 1.
